Review about Buick Century

I got this car long time ago in 1995. This is second version of Century I dreamed to acquire. I am still happy with that car no matter how often I should put it on the service.

In 1997 my Buick Century was redesigned. Now, much more car produced on an updated front-W-platform, and only as a sedan. Body dimensions: length 4943 mm, width 1847 mm, height 1438 mm. The model received a new aerodynamic body, and gasoline 6-cylinder V-engine with turbo compressor and oil cooling system working volume of 3.1 liters with 175 hp at 5200 r / m with a maximum torque of 264 N / m at 4000 r / m The power unit is paired with an automatic four-speed gearbox. The maximum speed of 205 km / h. Acceleration to 100 km in 10.5 seconds. Smooth contours, combined with the massive bumper, spoiler and a thin line of one-piece caps on the wheels have created a look of calm pastors for the average American. The salon was quite spacious and can accommodate up to 6 people. Buick Century released in two trim levels - Custom and Limited. Limited interior was trimmed in leather. Both options have McPherson type front suspension and rear independent. Galvanized body parts guarantee reliable protection against corrosion. Buick Century regularly received new features and technological innovations. For example, opening doors without a key, a modern stereo system and many other amenities. The car received new brakes. Set of passive safety elements included two air bags and safety belts with inertia reels.

Accomplishments Buick Century

reliability, trusted manufacturer

Disadvantages (breakage, repairs) year 1995 Buick Century

Old car with huge mileage, should be casted to a garbage.
