I don’t know if I can rate this car as an excellent in all respects, but definitely very excited with a stunning design. Below is my impressions about the Hyundai I40.
The machine is equipped with a smart key, start with a button – nothing new but anyway sign of a progress. The door opens solidly, slams with a pleasant sound. Can I consider it as a Premium feature? Maybe… Interior looks pretty nice. Two-color, with bright leather seats, it really pleases the eye. Design dashboard and door panels are made in the same style. Smooth lines like flow around the driver compartment. Itself is also quite high-quality plastic. The fit of parts is good.
The front panel is divided into floors with silver plastic strip. Below - a niche and secondary functions of the car, and the top of the assembled press that can be useful at any time. Good ergonomics. For example, the driver can adjust the temperature in your part of the cabin, almost never taking his left hand off the wheel. The center touch-screen display with good graphics and speed indicators. There is a multi-function steering wheel and bright optitron devices with small screen information center. Maybe I am a little bit centered upon design, but in fact I don’t understand anything in technical aspects of the car. I just can say that it is doing well on the road, there is no any squeaks and rattles. On the central tunnel small lever gearbox and cute button parking brake, combined with a ring control keys and parktronic sensors at start uphill. The designers also reported that the European i40 has a more rigid body, making extensive use of high-strength steel in the construction. Well, finally, it is important that the car is producing in Korea. This is about the build quality; it is here at a high level.
High-strength steel in the household
Quality leather seats
A lot of functions
